Oscar is flying home to Maryland. He gets to ride there all snuggled up in his soft crate at his new mom's feet. She and his new dad flew to Oregon to get him and take him home in-cabin with them. Oscar is going to spend some time charming them and the flight attendants. Oscar loves any kind of attention. This will be the ride of his life! |
What? Surely they don't expect me to eat this bowl filled up? It's wider than I am! Big enough for a wading pool! I'm sure getting hungry, but this is downright intimidating. |

Oh, look! Someone's coming with another one...and carrying a scoop of wonderful smelling puppy food...doesn't look like too much. Oh! and a wading pool filled with water! |
They have been taking photos of me all day. And I have posed like I was the golden retriever poster boy. |

With all those beautiful photos to choose from, will you just look and see what they decided to show you? |
Nothing has changed since I've grown up a little. Mom and dad are still showing you my darker side. |

Mom took me to work. Very nice. Here, I show them what to do with the company frisbee. |
Ow wow, look, there they are with that camera again! I sure hope they don't think I'm responsible for that big puddle. |

This is loads more fun than walking on that tarp pool cover. Now I know why they call goldens "water dogs". |
Swimming was fun, but this being wet out of the water is something special. Why, I could just lick myself all over, I'm so pleased. |

Growing up has given me a whole new perspective on swimming pool activities. Here you see me enjoying the best of both worlds ... I'm a natural! |
To think, it took me a year and a half to see the best poolside activity of all, snooze. 'Scuse me? Could I please have a moment here? |
