Pastor Marc Mullins came to
Pendleton in 2003. He began his ministry with
First Christian Church on October 27 of that
year.
Marc and his
wife, Wendy, have been married for as long as
they have served in ministry together. They will celebrate
their twenty-seventh wedding anniversary this July 7,
2006. Marc and Wendy have one daughter, Megan, who has
studied at Hiram College (Hiram, Ohio), and Texas Christian
University (Fort Worth, Texas). Megan aspires to work in
the field of Christian ministry in her future.
Marc received his Bachelor of
Arts degree from Northwest Christian College (Eugene, Oregon) in
1979, majoring in Biblical Studies with a double minor in Music
and Biblical Archaeology. In 1986 he graduated from Brite
Divinity School (Texas Christian University) in Fort Worth,
Texas with his Master of Divinity
Degree.
Among Marc's many interests, he has a deep
appreciation for music and the arts. A musician and songwriter
himself, Marc plays several musical instruments. His preference among
all are the guitar and vocals.
As an accomplished professional
illusionist, Marc has held membership in the Association of
Christian Entertainers, the Academy of Magical
Arts (Hollywood, California), the Society of American Magicians, and the
International Brotherhood of Magicians. In addition to
professional performance, he has created and marketed many original magic effects,
including a variety of Gospel routines for use in the
ministry.
Marc has had the privilege to travel
widely throughout the world, and has lived and studied in such places as
the Republic of the Philippines and Israel.
